Suzy Hendrix’s sculptures are exhibited literally from coast to coast with works on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina to Whidby Island in Washington. Her sculptures are currently on loan at the University of Alabama’s Confab Outdoor Exhibition, Josephine Sculpture Park (Franklin, KY), and the Hattiesburg Alliance for Public Art (Hattiesburg, MS).
Suzy Hendrix is a multidisciplinary sculptor whose work draws deeply on architectural history, cultural memory, and the interplay between old and new forms. Working in materials such as dalle de verre glass, mosaic, ceramic, aluminum, steel, and concrete, she creates sculptural environments and installations that reinterpret historic motifs through contemporary techniques. Her public art practice spans large‑scale plaza installations, mosaic gardens developed with teen apprentices, sculptural bike racks, and architectural glass works for civic and medical institutions. Suzy is recently completed a pair of large-scale sculptures for the city of Jackson TN. These sculptures feature her signature exterior grade glass, dalle de verre (Dalle de verre - Wikipedia). A pair of interlocking “trees” create an arched gateway into Jackson’s walkable downtown. She is also currently working on a large scale mosaic for Overton Park Shell, in Memphis TN, slated for completion spring 2027.
